The company identified below is responsible for processing personal data on this website. You can contact us by email or by telephone using the details provided in the legal notice.
2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted on a server provided by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. As hosting provider, Hetzner receives technically necessary data to the extent required to provide and secure the server.
Each page request causes server log files to process, in particular, the IP address, date and time of access, requested address and HTTP method, HTTP status code, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, and browser and operating-system information. Processing is necessary to deliver the website, ensure stability and security, and detect and prevent misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in operating this website securely and reliably.
Server log files are generally deleted after 14 days. They are retained for longer only where this is necessary to investigate a specific security incident or comply with a legal obligation.
3. Contact by email or telephone
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the contact details you provide, the content of your request, and the communication data needed to handle it. Providing this information is voluntary; without the information required for a response, however, we may be unable to process your request.
For pre-contractual or contractual matters, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other requests are processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in responding appropriately. Recipients may include the email and telecommunications providers we use.
We delete the data once the request has been conclusively handled and no statutory retention obligation or legitimate reason requires further storage. Where a communication forms part of a contractual or business transaction, the applicable statutory retention periods apply.
4. Language preference
When you use the language switcher to choose German or English, we store the technically necessary cookie ‘site_locale’ on your device. It contains only the selected language code ‘de’ or ‘en’ and ensures that your expressly requested language is used on later visits. The cookie applies to this website and expires automatically after one year.
Storage and access do not require consent under Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG because they are necessary to provide the expressly requested language preference. To the extent that personal data is processed, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in providing a user-friendly multilingual website.
5. No analytics or marketing services
This website does not use analytics or marketing services, embedded third-party videos, social-media plugins, or tracking technologies requiring consent. There is no contact form. Consequently, no consent banner is currently used.
6. Fonts and technical libraries
The fonts and JavaScript libraries used by this website are served locally. Loading a page therefore does not establish a connection to external font or library services.
7. Your rights
Subject to the applicable statutory requirements, you have the following rights in particular:
- Access to your processed personal data (Article 15 GDPR)
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Article 16 GDPR)
- Erasure (Article 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR)
- Data portability where the statutory requirements are met (Article 20 GDPR)
- Objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Article 21 GDPR)
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR). The supervisory authority particularly relevant to us is the Thuringian State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Häßlerstraße 8, 99096 Erfurt, Germany, www.tlfdi.de.
8. Right to object
Where we process personal data on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then cease processing the affected data unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
9. Automated decisions and updates
No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place. We update this privacy policy when the services used, technical processes, or legal requirements change.
